Message: I can’t recommend the service at Sids highly enough! I’ve lived in the area for nearly 20 years and much preferred going to them for general plumbing parts (rather than going to large retailers who wouldn’t be able to give specific advice on fitting etc. ). A few years ago when I had my kitchen renovated I bought a Grohe wall hung concealed-cistern toilet online – when it arrived half of the bits were missing. I promptly returned it and ordered the same one through Sids – once delivered to the shop Paul helped me check through all the parts to ensure that I had everything that was needed. As I was fitting the toilet myself this extra reassurance was invaluable.. This year I’ve extended into my loft space and so when it came to ordering the bathroom items (shower enclosure/sink/toilet/cabinets) I decided I would go straight to Sids. I was able to sit down with Paul and could talk through and order all the items I needed – he helped by advising me on exactly what items were needed (or not). I’m pretty sure I’d have ordered the wrong sized cistern or something if I’d attempted to do this on my own.. Because I’d ordered through Sids they were able to get me a 20% trade discount which was definitely welcome, especially in the current financial climate! When the items were delivered a few days later, Paul checked the contents of all the boxes to ensure everything that had been ordered was actually delivered and undamaged. This definitely took away some of the worry when ordering such large ticket items.. Even better, when my works overran by a few weeks Sids helpfully stored my items in their showroom until my builder was ready to fit them – they didn’t hassle me once about removing them. When it was eventually time to fit, Tony delivered the items directly to site for free. I’m not convinced you’d get this level of service anywhere else!
